Box Tops Help Our School!

Great news! We earned $367.80 for the fall submission of Box Tops for Education. Way to go everyone who participated.

Keep clipping traditional Box Tops from your purchases and add the Box Tops Mobile App to your phone if you haven’t already. The Mobile App is the all-new way to earn cash for your school. When you download the NEW and improved Box Tops app you’ll be able to scan your receipt, instantly identify Box Tops products and automatically add cash to your school’s earnings online—no clipping required.

The next submission deadline will be in March 2020. Keep collecting.

Fall deadline for Box Tops is October 25th!

Over the summer, participating brands began to change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label. Going forward, instead of clipping from packages and checking expiration dates, all Box Tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt. If you still have traditional Box Tops clips at home, make sure to send them to school. We will still earn cash for all clipped Box Tops until they expire. Better yet, you can “double dip” during the packaging transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt containing participating products. Download the app on iTues or Google Play. See products & learn more about the box tops app at BTFE.COM.

Thanks for your efforts in helping our school earn money through the Box Tops program!

Check one thing off your list with School Toolbox!

For the fourth year in a row, the PSI PTO is teaming up with School Tool Box to offer parents the option of ordering teacher requested school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year.

The program benefits parents by making buying supplies quick and convenient and the PSI PTO will benefit at the same time by receiving 5% back for all online orders. School Tool Box offers one-stop shopping for your teacher approved supplies without the need to step foot in a retail store.

Why School Tool Box? We researched many programs and found it is comparable to what parents would find at the brick and mortar stores (minus the few deeply discounted items often offered to draw customers in). We selected them based on the ability to supply name brand teacher requested supplies, parents ability to place and customize their orders and have them shipped directly to the home as well as overall customer service.

When ordering parents will be able to order the list as specified by their grade or they can opt to customize their order and pick and choose what they want. Customizing orders provides parents with the flexibility to order according to their needs and even stock their cabinets at home with additional supplies if they chose.

The best part is that you no longer have to worry that you won’t be able to find what you need when you get around to ordering. With School Tool Box you can order your supplies for the 2019-2020 school year now or you can wait until two weeks before school begins and either way you are guaranteed to get what you need. You read that correctly, online ordering is already open and orders can be placed today.

No more waiting for the teacher approved lists to be posted online or be available at local stores, simply head to Schooltoolbox.com, select pre-built boxes and type Park Spanish Immersion in the dropdown box and find your grade level list for 2019-2020, place your order and check school supplies off the to-do list!

Question and comments can be emailed to michelle.abramson@gmail.com

The Media Center Needs Your Help!

Did you know that PSI has already circulated 25,000 books this year?! With all of that reading going on, it is no surprise that the media center specialists need some help from time to time. Please consider stopping by the media center to assist with taping and shelving books between 8:15am and 3pm. We ask that you check-in first with a specialist to ensure that you have been properly trained. It would be ideal if you could commit to an hour on a fairly regular basis, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Sra. Vandewalker (vandewalker.sara@slpschools.org) or Lisa Welke (welke.lisa@slpschools.org) with questions.
